Another year holding strong, brothers!
The legacy of Suicide Charley still exists online, and despite not getting the site updated with features that I planned or touch-ups, we faced zero downtime. It’s updated and secured, and I get a phone call if this fucker ever goes down to get it back up. Thankfully, just hasn’t happened yet.
I don’t aim to bore you with this stuff, but it does take time, money, and effort to keep it this way. Behind the scenes, I have a full DevOps cycle keeping this site here for all of us. I manage the server, update the software, run antivirus scans, run tests, and maintain backups. All nerdy shit, but it’s one way I found that I can consistently give back to Suicide.
I do have good news coming directly from the source. I’ve made contact with the current XO of the company, who should start pushing content updates about the current operations of our gun club.
Hopefully, some fresh content and a direct connection with the company office will make this the year to expand the offerings and capabilities of our website.
